I watched the 60 Minutes segment on this. The kids are simply remarkable and brilliant. A few things that stood out - (almost?) all kids were of Southeast Asian origin children of immigrants, the funding has been cancelled due to DEI, China and Asian countries have a lot more participants in IGEM.
