Really jealous you get to experience *this* version of the game. I still liked it at launch but with the gameplay updates and DLC it’s just super fun

It’s just a great game, and also very much a game of its time. A remake might make different gameplay and lore choices and that would be fine, but for me it slaps as is

I think that’s right, though I’m not sure what to make of it. I got my AA exposure in past generations literally from magazines and later IGN/Polygon/Kotaku etc now a lot of that is gone. Aftermath is a great site but they can only cover so much.

My TL is full of folks doing first playthroughs of mostly AAA titles but many of them were originally PS5 exclusives. I think this generation was really hit hard by the pandemic and GPU inflation. Hard to have a ps5 discourse without ps5s

It’s a really strange ride. No other adult milestone like it. It took me like 2 full years to fully relax into our space. All I can say is…you got this!

Nah it was good. I think if anything it’s more of a rebuttal to all those “there’s no games on the PS5” people. We didn’t even get updates on HALF of the big games in queue and it’s one of the most full State of Plays ever

The Highguard stuff really sucks because I don’t want anyone to lose their job and also it’s impossible for everyone to love every game and genre so much that they *all* instantly find an audience.

Like there has to be room for “it’s pretty good, but not my thing”!
