My mom went to a festival once and she came back with a hoodie that she said she spent more on but she wanted to support the independent artist who made it
She's done this a few times already

The other day my dad got all of my groceries because he saw my grocery list. I already did my groceries so I guess we have extra food this week lol

Also he's been known to go to multiple stores to get the right item

I asked my mom once if I was making a good decision. She just said I'm an adult and I don't even know what I'm doing, just do what you gotta do
I appreciate her honesty

Once my mom mentioned wanting doughnuts from a very specific place and my dad drove almost an hour to get there just to get her doughnuts for mother's day
