losing is just decaffeinated winning
your pooch truly won the owner lottery
The video makes this very clear:

The reason the new F1 racing is less exciting is because every lap the overtakes are provisional, and therefore so is excitement.

Got my local voice automation playing music from my NAS on command, but it will only play a single Radiohead song.
America's path from 'The Shining City On A Hill' to 'No Stupid Rules of Engagement, No Politically-Correct Wars' is a surprisingly straight line of unearned exceptionalism.
ai slop woman with massively improbably huge curly hair
it's all gone heat tong
I don't know why everyone is so scared of AI taking over the world. I used to work in IT and I beat the shit out of an old blade web server once. It's not going to be any different with AI on the server. It's not going to wrap fucking wires around your head like fucking Superman 3
Llindsay Graham moaning about why Saudi Arabia won't join the fight against Iran.
Because they don't want to make themselves targets with countries across their own region, easier to placate a faraway land full of useful idiots.
I was just putting my 5yo daughter to bed.
I told her I'd take her to school in the morning.
She said 'Great!'
I said 'Get a good nights' sleep'
She said 'I will, Daddy'.
I said 'Night night then. I love you'.
She bunched her face up, looked confused/annoyed and said 'Uh, I know. You have to.'
I wonder what that husk of a man Dominic Cummings is up to these days. Probably fudding himself into a coma from all the global turmoil and death.
Had a dream I bought a huge UK-style house in India and fell in love with an Indian girl.
We moved into the house but the contract stated we could only live in the loft. It also had a clause that we had to co-habitat with Keith Chegwin cosplaying as a postman who would occasionally turn violent.
I remember seeing this as a kid and genuinely thinking as soon as the Russians saw it they'd fire nukes at the UK for making such an offensive video
Fast forward 42 years and this is scenario is now a genuine possibility from the American side
Astonishingly good video (and song!)
Medium-sized trilolobite sitting on top of a shard of mudstone.
Elrathia kingii from the famous Wheeler Formatting in Utah. There are millions of these trilobites preserved there, brought into the deep water by undersea mudslides.
Some species of trilobite are so well preserved, their calcite eye lenses still focus images perfectly after 500 million years! Mad!
me paying $30 in gas to buy imported things that have been hit with tariffs bc joe rogan is learning about politics at age 58
I'm learning this piece and have been for a few years.
It is fiendishly difficult. It takes me months to just get a few bars right. I cannot process how people play it like this. Amazing.
3/3
Don't like it. It's not racing. More like gaming.
2/3
Safety looks to be an issue, several crashes have occured due to the battery power suddenly deploying.
It also looks dangerous as previously cars overtake at predictable and estimatable speeds, now overtaking/taken cars can suddenly be in unpredictable locations. Closing speeds now differ a lot
Thoughts on the new F1 car tech:
1/3
Racing is unpredictable. Overtakes seem arbitrary, the overtaken car can boost back past the overtaker a few corners later. It feels much more like Mariokart where you've picked up a speed boost pack.
Racing is different. Tension needs to build over many laps.

TELEPORT TO THE LARGE MAGELLANIC CLOUD
On International Womenβs Day a reminder that my Alice had a mother and a sister and grannies, aunts, girl friends and girl cousins.
They all loved her as a woman.
When the transphobes say they speak for all women and are protecting women and girls, they are wrong.
Isreal.
But of course! I'll take some pics in a bit. :-)
