Fourteen years today since we got the 1987-88 school RPG group back together - and we've been playing nearly every week ever since.
Long may it continue π

Somewhere in the middle - the places and peoples have different names, but it's very close to being Europe.
Just finished. A thing of beauty.
Absolutely loved it.
I mostly ascribe this to my age, but everyone is welcome π²π²π²
The Wednesday morning urge to chuck it all in and go and live in the woods like some kind of oddball moss hermit.
Yes, WFRP, but lessβ¦WFRP, if you know what I mean π
Of course, this means fighting the long-growing suspicion that an only very slightly Call of Cthulhu flavoured historical campaign set in Europe during the 30 years war period might be interesting.
Lots of work though, that one.
That sounds like my players!
So I reckon I've got about ten sessions left of Cthulhu by Gaslight to run (which'll take us to about 30 sessions).
What's next? I need something that runs at a different speed, I think. Something a bit more wild...and bonkers.
Seriously thinking about pitching a Pirate Borg mini campaign.

Cut-down version of BRP, you say?
I better have a look, mate!
Thanks Cezar!
Cheers Chris!
Thanks mate! π
Cheers!
I've just looked at my GM notes for tonight's game of Cthulhu by Gaslight.
Scratchy, scrawly, weird lines, jumbled ideas, half-baked concepts, and to top it all, vaguely incomprehensible.
It's like a mythos tome all of my own!

please forgive me, but a cheeky repost for the morning shift - mainly because of how happy I am with this π
Cheers!
Watched the first one tonight, really rather enjoyed it π
Cheers Tina!
This mostly inspired by a scenario I wrote for my Cthulhu by Gaslight group, which suggested that the Hyperboreans, fleeing the ice, would then settle the surrounding land masses.
My players, on the trail of a missing archaeologist, uncovered a lost Hyperborean artifact in Scotland.

Thank you, mate! π
