Almost every line of the interview had asterisks replacing the swear words. I had a very therapeutic few hours going through the transcript putting the swear words back in. “That’s a fuck, that’s a shit…I think that’s a bollocks” (3/3)
Fun fact: Paddy was a very sweary individual, and when I asked MSWord to transcribe the interview I did with him, it censored all the swear words with asterisks (2/3).

I met Paddy Hill a few years ago when doing some research on the impact of wrongful convictions. He was a passionate advocate for anyone who had been wrongfully convicted & his death is a desperately sad loss for both his family and the MOJO community (1/3).

The ‘thieves operating in this area’ notice always suggests to me that they’ve given up. ‘We’ve tried to stop them by putting up a fake CCTV camera, but they’re still at it, so you’re on your own’.
I think clear & direct is the way to go, so something like “Don’t spike people’s drinks” or even more direct “Only nobheads spike drinks”.
While I understand reminding people to keep themselves safe is a good thing, it would be nice to see messages that focus on reminding people that they shouldn’t spike drinks, especially with a tagline that says #stampoutspiking
