If you have a basic idea of french vocabulary, I like Pierre's Adventures in French. Very easy point and click with very simple sentences.
For Japanese, Wagotabi teaches you Japanese and slowly substitutes english for Japanese as you go. Zelda and the phantom hourglass has furigana and it’s easy.
