We respond with interest by re-confirming the findings of our original study with four new experiments, using the proposed ab92682 antibody, demonstrating that our findings are robust and reproducible.
Le et al. report that an alternative antibody (ab92682) provides greater specificity for p-tau Ser356 relative to the antibody (ab75603) we used in our original paper.
Nearing the 2nd year anniversary of our paper βP-Tau Ser356 is Associated with Alzheimerβs Disease Pathology and is Lowered in Brain Slice Cultures by the NUAK Inhibitor WZ4003β, weβre pleased to have received correspondence from Le at al. exploring differences in p-tau Ser356 antibody specificity.

super excited to release this. nearly 7 years ago, we set out to investigate whether FMRP regulates excitability of neurons in living human brain tissue. we find loss of FMRP in adult neurons leads to elevated excitability, corrected by PDE4D inhibition.
