Raven found shot dead next to grouse moor in notorious Peak District raptor persecution hotspot.
S. Yorks Police take 3.5 months to appeal for witnesses. No surprise that illegal killing continues in this part of National Park.

Cerulean Warbler Setophaga cerulea, southern Ohio April/May 2024. A stunning bird and one of my main targets on that trip.
Cliff Swallow, Minesing May 2024. Trying to get through my photos from earlier this year. We came across a large colony of these birds nesting under a road bridge. Very difficult to photograph in flight so most of the hundreds of photos I took ended up in the trash.
Letβs keep pushing!! 𦑠help us reach 25,000 by the end of today!

Northern Parula Setophaga americana, southern Ohio. May/June 2024.
The truth about the shooting industry: 40M birds bred to die, wildlife persecuted, ecosystems wreckedβall for profit and entertainment. How can this still be legal? Ban bird shooting NOW.
Millions of non-native pheasants, bred in appalling conditions, are dumped into the countryside just to be shot. This isnβt conservation; itβs carnage. The shooting industry must be held accountable!
Prairie Warbler Setophaga discolor, southern Ohio April/May 2024
Hooded Warbler Setophaga citrina, southern Ohio April/May 2024.
