How are we supposed to create anything if our financial systems are this brittle?
The game is/was barely in early access, it could easily have fixed every issue as any number of games have done before it.

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
the "the myth of consensual sex" meme where it's a couple saying they consent but then jesus is off to the side saying he does't, but it's been changed so it says "the myth of consensual urban transit planning" And the couple is labeled "city dwellers" the man is saying "we should make it easier to not drive here" The woman is saying "like building bike lanes or adding bus routs." And Jesus has been replaced with clip art of a farmer, labeled "someone who lives 1000 miles away and has no involvement whatsoever." and is saying "Stop trying to take my car away I will kill you" text at the bottom still says "isn't there somebody you forgot to ask?"
any discussion of city transit improvement online ever
Getting stuck causes players to explore the world.
Dying causes players to think about what they're doing.
An "impossible" situation causes players to learn how the game works and eventually achieve the impossible.
We need to be able to design *some* games around these fundamental ideas.
This made me think of Devil Daggers, the most fun ive had running around on a flat plane shootin

As a person who was newbie game dev coming into the industry at that time, thanks for doing that lol. Watching you and other more senior devs just leave at goin home time and seeing how nothing exploded made me feel much more confident goin home on time myself.

You left. Now they're dead.

I am new to baseball, i am also up at 1am watching w my friends. Holy Shit this is fun. Come on #bluejays !!!!!
A company with decades of single-player experience pivoting to multiplayer? Well, it worked for Anthem, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, FBC: Firebreak, Redfall, Marvel's Avengers, and all those PlayStation games
But if I havent read the design even though its been linked to me in 50 different ways, does it even exist?
developer: put it down. we don't need another one
concept artist: (clutching tighter) no. this is my emotional support sky whale
Can also name ranges of cells right? Like C1 to C12 being "PLAYER_LEVELS", which is also very helpful
Oof. I thought that might be the case. Hopefully I'll find some other way to read em then haha
Both physical and digital *
I have wondered about messaging about getting the Paladin series as well.
I read both! That would be cool! I am canadian though and we have a postal strike going on right now so that might get in the way haha.
If it means anything I've really enjoyed reading your books! Thanks for writing them.
Someone needs to do something about this
Photo of an exterior dug-out bricked in trench area around the old blackpowder storage area in Annapolis Royal. There is a grate above causing striped shadows everywhere
A picture of a cliff face of one of the Bird Islands in Nova Scotia, which is peppered with puffins in many nooks and crannies
A Puffin just taking flight out of the water, there are splashes behind it that show the trail of it kicking the water as it gains speed. It looks like its running ontop of the water
A picture at a beach during sunset. There is a mirror still pool of water with driftwood in it reflecting the sky and horizon which shows raised hills slightly obscured by atmospheric haze
Went to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia for a vacation. Picked up a used Fuji mirrorless camera. Was really fun taking photos, and looking for random birds since I went with 2 friends who are into birding. They may have converted me as well... time will tell haha.
Obs does this i think! I think it's called the replay buffer in settings
OBS also has the replay buffer feature. So it's always recording the last [x] mins and you can just press a hot key to spit out the video. Very useful!
Nooo
