I can really relate to this, and what helps me is taking time to yourself. Some fish turn out to be leeches. A sad facade to get you in their net, then retreat when they got what they wanted. It will require time to heal, but you'll come out of it stronger. I'm wishing you the best with healing!

A drawing from 2021, but I did not have time to draw a new Rapidash for today. This one was made shiny specifically to celebrate my shiny Ponyta found in Pokemon Pearl 2007. I transferred her all the way up to Pokemon Shield where she resides to this day. I referenced a photo by Ignacio Alvar Thomas for the pose, where the subject is in mid-run.

Sorry this is just late night bad feelings. I try to keep my page silly and fun but sometimes feelings happen and all my thoughts, wants, and workflow kaputs. I’ve had a lot of drastic changes happen in such a short time and I just want to hurry and be “better”, and have something for life again 4/4

Honestly I didn’t expect everything else to affect me like it is now because losing my dad was the biggest thing and that nothing else could compare how bad that was at that moment. But those other things were indeed bad so now I have to process and heal from all those too. 3/4

I’ve always been weird about handling bad things. I don’t care or feel bad at first, then I will suddenly start to feel bad about it later, like a delayed reaction. I’m starting to “react” now to everything else that happened. I’m now starting to feel haunted. 2/4

I’m really not feeling so good after everything that happened with my dad. I know a couple of months passed by now, but every so often I remember he’s not here anymore and I fall apart.

Everything that transpired after his passing is starting to hit me now too 1/4
