A glowy green onyx sterling silver ring in art deco style, and a big juicy oval purple charoite ring with sterling silver beading all around.
Today has been a DAY (thanks Mercury in gatorade)!! But at lunch I remembered to check my shipping from @peculiarityshop.bsky.social and my rings had been delivered! Just unboxed them and I *love* both of them, thank you so much!!!✨💕
Sorry!
Natural opal is a difficult one, but lab cultured opals are fairly accessible and often have beautiful effects!
And another thing worth mentioning is that antiquities are usually more expensive because they are often one of a kinds. Also, whether or not a stone has an open back or a full sterling back will also dictate sterling weight, but you might not see that on the surface.
I have size 12 rings that go for about fifty five dollars. It depends on your preference on band width. It's all about how much sterling you like or insist upon.
I have always tried to have a business model of clarity and open communications, so this is me trying to do that not to discourage anyone, but if you are trying to fit within a budget, this might help you pick something perfect for you that won't break your bank or your heart.
But there have been a few times where people will see me running rings at around $60 and then be surprised when the rock that they requested is over eighty or ninety. Weight matters because it's sold to me by the gram. Stone matters depending on availability and quality.
Certain stones and their worth can sku prices.
Tanzanite.
Natural Opal.
Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald.
Tourmaline.
Larimar.
Kyanite.
All $$.
A bespoke black rhodium ring with brown and blue stones.
And this is a ring that will go for over two hundred dollars easily.
Not only is there a ton of sterling, but those are sapphires.
An ornate green onyx ring.
This is a perfect example of a ring you are going to spend between $100-$150. Much heavier sterling on it.
A citrine ring with a band.
This is a perfect example of a fifty to sixty dollar ring.
Some people have expressed shock regarding prices, but I have run sterling anywhere from $25 for a very delicate ring or stud earrings up to $500 for chunky cuffs.
