No idea but I dont have faith in the club to make the right appointment afterwards either. Hopefully the rumoured new CEO and Chairman can tell the board to step back and allow them to control decisions going forward and the boards just investors.

To be fair to Martin, at least he’s got a style of football as a rangers fan in stuck with Clement who doesn’t seem to have any style of play based on what I’m being subjected to each week
CR7 is my favourite non rangers player ever and that’s the kit I first remember him by
It’s like Kompany at Burnley, knows the way they are playing is causing serious damage to the club but by sticking to his brand of football and his philosophy there will be some interest in him if jobs appear

Sometimes that’s the best way to play the game, setting too high expectations can make the game dull and cause disinterest in the save, looking forward to how it goes for you
Turns out the goal wasn’t scored by Hagi as my football scores app incorrectly attributed the goal to him. Hes still a better option than Dowell though so I’m doubling down on this point
Add in Hagi with a goal and assist for Romania tonight it’s good to see our boys pick up some form and hopefully Clement finally realises that Dowell is utter pish and he’s leaving the better player in the bench more times than not

Sounds like a big enough challenge with the league situation before adding in the story incentive of overthrowing Bayern to become the biggest club in Munich
Really would like to see John Souttar carry on his level of performance over this international break into Rangers next run of games. Feel he could be a big player and the injury to Kasanwirjo amplifies his level of importance to the squad.
Saying that, with him reaching goal mark I’ve been able to shift focus onto Jose Lucio and getting home game time to begin his march to 50 goals in season 3. Until Luis Fernando moves on he will continue to play in an effort to showcase his talents to garner interest in him. (7/~)
It’s a shame as within 6 months of the save I had turned down numerous bids from Man City as he hadn’t achieved the goals and at the point of bids he was miles away from it. (6/~)
With Luis Fernando reaching his target I’ve been offering him out to clubs but thus far it has only been fellow Brazilian teams who have shown interest in him. This means he’s stuck in a place where he can’t achieve much more in this save and is now being held back. (5/~)
The end of season 2 saw Luis Fernando break through the 50 goal barrier after scoring 43 in season 2. We performed well above expectations in the league as we secured Libertadores football with a 3rd place finish and our second consecutive Mineiro state championships. (4/~)

I am a bit ahead with the save compared to the forum, so it does make it a nice and easy task to bring it up to speed.

Season 2 update posted later today and hopefully be able to go a bit in depth on the strikers currently eligible for this save
In season 1, we won the Mineiro state championship and finished within the Sudamericana positions but the only striker eligible in Luis Fernando managed a measly 8 goals in 31 games. The shining light was Jose Lucio from our first intake who didn’t quite have the physicals R9 had but was a finisher.
The goal is to get our strikers there moves to Europe where they can kick on and hopefully win the Ballon D’Or. To be given the opportunity to move to Europe is 50 goals and 50 appearances for the club. This is the real challenge in my eyes, we need to grow the club to gather the interest (3/~)
I’ve also picked out 5 attribute’s that I feel are key to the R9 style which are Acceleration, Composure, Technique, Finishing and Dribbling and for them to be complete in these categories I’d like them to get a combined score of 85 which averages out at 17 for each component.
In my current save I’ve took over the reins of Cruzeiro with the goal to create the next R9 who can fire this club and Brazil to success.
There are some rules for the save in terms of the strikers must be 18 or younger at the time of joining the experiment. (1/~)
A different style of save myself where the main focus is developing world class strikers but this doesn’t stop me from wanting to become the powerhouse of South American football. Will showcase the save so far later on today
