Interesting! Aesthetically I think I like it more treating the hatch as the glass cockpit though, so I’ll just say the mechwarrior is claustrophobic and wanted an open view, haha!

Every now and again I like to flip through the first White Dwarf I bought, 145. HeroQuest was the game that got me hooked on minis, so seeing a call out for “new rules” on the cover made it instant purchase for me. I don’t think I knew about other GW games then.

Good to know! I'll give it another go tonight and make sure to go extra thick!

Tried some black crackle paint on the base of my Magma Giant, but didn’t put it on think enough I guess. So not too happy with the result. I’m going to try to scrape it off , repaint , and apply a really really thick coat. Fingers crossed!
