In the recent 302 FBI releases of the victim from 1984 in South Carolina, her mother was sent to jail for embezzlement (unrelated). Who signed off on her case? None other than Solicitor Randolph “Buster” Murdaugh Jr., grandfather of Alex Murdaugh.

According to the DOJ interviews, in 1984 Epstein lived at Sea Pines Plantation, a resort on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
That same year the resort was shaken by financial mismanagement and fraud involving developers and investors.
