โWe have seen asthma, allergic rhinitis, hives/urticaria, environmental and food allergies, with the most common being asthma. But then there is also a good subset of patients developing mast cell activation symptoms,โ -me

wastewater
The national aggregate wastewater estimate is in the highest since July 2024 kind of zone. And while some individual catchments (in the north) are like that (check the maps tab at poops.nz for detail), a lot of the aggregate is that covid is up everywhere at the same time.
holy shit the downpours were amazing

Time to pass a law that any party spokesperson of media outlet that opines with hindsight reckons on pandemic management has to show this chart in the background at all times #nzpol
sooo disappointing to see such inaccurate stories in the media about this data ๐ฅฒ๐ฅฒ
And the covid reporting dashboard has been updated from 19 deaths reported in the (as of now) week before last, to 5 reported last week.
But, to keep shouting at the void, this tells us nothing about the progression of the current wave, as the reporting is now but the events were July last year.
One could even sayโฆ he aborted his political careerโฆ
If you refuse to criticize any sort of politician, I donโt value your opinion on anything. They all work for us and should be criticized regularly.
Itโs not meant to be an easy job. It is literally life and death for so many people in this country.
Dr Shane Reti is retiring after this year from politics. We love this for him! We're so glad he is able to CHOOSE what happens to his life and the current government is not forcing their will on him. Wow, CHOICE is amazing, eh, Dr Reti! #nzpol #abortion #NationalNZ #abortionishealthcare

Over the past four years, the number of New Zealanders aged 30-50 emigrating has more than doubled โ from 18,000 to 43,000 โ fueled by rising living costs and a weakening job market, demographers told CNN.
ACT is mad about the recommendation to ban nudifier apps, and I think that was my submission, so... sorry? Lol. I think that apps and websites whose primary purpose is to generate sexualised deepfakes without consent should be banned ๐คท #nzpol
This story needs a correction. It is absolutely true that admissions are the highest since October, but 184 admissions is the last 4 weeks (to 16 Feb), not last week (to 16 Feb). 184 in a week is 2022 levels. This would be much easier to keep track of if we had the data rather than a Power BI report

Ecology nerds, this one is for you!
