Everyone sharing that Daily Beast tweet/article about Bill Guerin should know they massively misrepresented what Guerin said.
He didn't say anything about Trump's "rhetoric" or "51st state" comments. He basically just said he thought the players were inspired by the booing of the anthem.
So Bill Guerin still said he would like Trump to attend but he didn’t said that the threat of annexation was an inspiration for American players. The article misrepresented what he said. It’s still not great. Sorry for the Fox News link (only one I could find): www.foxnews.com/sports/team-...

After talking to numerous people today, I'm starting to understand just really how tough a decision it was for Quinn Hughes to make today.
So many things to consider.
Canucks did not put pressure on him, they stood by him and supported him, they let him make the call.
That didn't take long.
Canucks sign defenceman Marcus Pettersson to a 6 year deal worth 5.5 million per year.
Chytil, apparently on his own, sent pucks to the kids at the closed practice. What a nice move. He's definitely going to become a fan favorite.
