Extraordinarily proud of the very first members of the Gildawie Lab (Abby Rish & Sandra Bartlett) for presenting their projects at the Simmons STEM Colloquium!

I’m so excited to keep working with them this summer and continue growing this amazing team!

A whole semester of teaching, admin work, faculty meetings, etc. and now I’m SO ready to get my lab ready for some research!!

New work from my postdoc is now published!! 🎉

We assessed developmental changes in growth and feeding-related gene expression following gestational exposure to medications for opioid exposure (methadone and buprenorphine) in rats 🐁🧠

I think biorender makes creating diagrams and graphics accessible to trainees who otherwise wouldn’t know where to start or would have to make it all from scratch. It saves time and allows them to workshop ideas in a way they otherwise couldn’t

👋🏻 Hi, it’s been a while! A couple things have changed:

This semester I started my dream job as an Assistant Professor at my alma mater, Simmons University! I’m so grateful to teach and work with these amazing students every day!

I’m Kelsea & I’m a postdoc at Tufts studying the developmental impacts of early life adversity and prenatal opioid exposure in rats 🐁💉💊

I also teach biopsych at Simmons (my alma mater ❤️) and hope to get a tenure-track position at a PUI in the coming years 🤞🏻
