And we wonder why Cooperative Program giving is down? Every single SBC leader should clearly state that this is not an acceptable situation, yet almost none are on the record about it publicly.

I expect my missions organizations to care about this, and yet they do not. Why should I trust my mission dollars to the IMB or NAMB when they don't care about this? Why should I trust Seminary Presidents who do not care about this?

@dalepartridge tweeted:

"Most Christian Nationalists really want Christian multiculturalism.

They want our current multi-ethnic America—just Christianized. I admit that would be better than what we have now. However, that is not Christian *Nationalism.*

The 2026 dictionary defines a nation as: “A country considered as a body of people united by common descent, history, culture, and language, inhabiting a particular area or territory.”

Through mass immigration, America has nearly lost its nationhood. We are no longer a people united by a “common descent, history, culture, and language.” We may qualify more as an empire than a nation.

So, if we’re being consistent, Christian *Nationalism* requires us to recover both “Christianity” and “Nationalism.”

But again, most American Christians do not really want a Christian “nation.” They do not want a recovery of our historic majority European identity—they want Christian multiculturalism.

Here’s the rub: The “nation” part feels “racist” to many American Christians. To want an ethnic national identity like Japan, Russia, Mexico, or Korea, or many other nations, feels wrong to our ethnically pluralistic sensitivities.

As a result, I often hear today’s Christian Nationalists saying, “We must restore a Christian culture in America!” But which Christian culture? The Hispanic Christian culture? The Korean Christian culture? The Romanian or Slavic Christian culture? The Nigerian Christian culture? Which national culture will become the Christian culture?

I think it must be the American Christian culture.

Ultimately, we must remember that Christian culture is not homogeneous. Christianity certainly influences culture, but culture is shaped more by geography, history, group customs, food, civics, art, and education.

Here’s the crux:

The battle before us is not just whether America can be robustly Christian again, but whether America can be a nation again.

Yes, we have many heritage American Blacks and Hispanics—some who are strong Christians and have assimilated into American culture. They ought to be embraced. But what about other non-American ethnicities? How should this shape immigration, deportation, remigration, and assimilation? That will be the key (and likely painful) question going forward.

I believe America is only for Americans. Not paper Americans. Not economy exploiters. Not hyphenated Americans. Not illegal Americans. Not Muslims or Hindus or homosexuals. Not unassimilating foreigners. Not birth tourists.

But for born-on-this-soil, patriotic, American-history-loving, Christian Americans.

By God, we will have our home again."'
