That looks very reminiscent of the cover concept I have in my head, and have generated examples of, although it'd be cool to have both the moon and the red/orange skies in it, or even having half and half!

If I recall correctly, it would be a Dragonball CPU, named after the anime... A lot of the other VTech laptops used a Z80, oddly enough, especially the ones with the BASIC programming language!

Good idea to source a cheap physical copy, although it does run under DOS, so you'd need Dosbox to play it, though I'd recommend DBGL, so you don't need to faff about as much getting the settings right!

I've not played chess in a while, but I'd rate my skill at it as below average to average, as I know how pieces advance, and also how to take them off the board, but not a lot else!
