Furthermore, I've used Chatgpt to help make sense of all the legalese in another will (yes, two today! Genealogy heaven!) I am saving so much time. I had to copy and paste 6 chunks of text because the will was across 6 jpegs in Tryleo.ai but it was handy to get a nice, easy-to-understand summary. 😍

Finally had a look at findleo.ai for transcribing old documents, and I'm impressed!! There was one word I was stuck on in a will, and it's "reclining" ("the large painting of a Lady sitting in rather a reclining attitude") and yes, I intend to try to track this painting down!
Same with my Mom. 10-20 years ago that little opener meant someone (that I probably don't remember) was getting married or having a baby. Now it probably means they died. Sad but true.

Genealogy & archives folks, any of you tried Transkribus yet? (AI handwriting transcription tool). It's not awesome on it's initial pass on an 1807 will written in the classic old English style of handwriting, but I'm hoping it'll learn well enough that I can transcribe other long wills at speed!

Is it weird to have a crush on a travel search website? Cruiseplum has AMAZING 'power tools' that I am very excited to try out.
Cruising is a great for neurodivergent travelers - it's very safe & structured, food is all taken care of, and many lovely destinations without re-packing!

My niece was first to be diagnosed. I was next (late 40). My parents def have their suspicions and it must be so hard to find this out in late 70s!

A mom just came in SO EXCITED to find a map store bc her son would LOVE it.

I'm like, ma'am, this is a map store. Half my customers are on the spectrum. I have a trains and transit section. You're among friends.
I find most cities and transportation tolerable … in m-ear or over the ear… why not both 😄
