between trying a new drink at the coffee shop and it actually having coffee, my distracted self managed to forget that I am lactose intolerant until they were making the drink for me (they kindly gave me lactose free milk at no extra charge)
look, I know there's a wind warning right now, but there's a difference between reading it and feeling concerned as a grown woman that the wind is one good gust away from toppling me to the ground
technically I am not filing my taxes this early - I just needed to remember what my RRSP contribution room was because the deadline for contributing is basically now and once again I have left it to the last minute
typed in 'cra' in my address bar to make it to the Canadian Revenue Agency site but it autofilled crave.ca and so I guess I'm rewatching Heated Rivalry for the nth time, I don't make the rules
every time I get three nights of good sleep in a row, I feel like I can take over the world - should do this more often

this made my list of games I'm looking forward to in 2026 and am excited to see it's coming soon!

I did tell the employee later after I found a copy of the book I wanted on their shelves and they assured me it was fine even though I know they would say the same thing even if it weren't 🫣
embarrassing bookstore moment of the day was getting the title of a book wrong and only realizing at the end of a call that the helpful employee placed to a different store to set aside a copy of the book on hold
and it will be undergoing this system maintenance for the whole weekend!

I take exception to the fact that the CRA website is undergoing system maintenance literally right when I remembered that I should put in my RRSP contribution for the year and so should check my contribution room

the thing about watching a lot of Heated Rivalry shorts on yt is that every once in a while yt is like, hey so here's a hockey short and I watch it for a bit, wondering when it will tie into Heated Rivalry before I realize that no, hockey exists as its own thing wholly unrelated to the show
