Hyrox is booming worldwide – here’s how to train for this race safely and effectively
Hyrox is one of the fastest-growing fitness trends out there.
I won’t be competing in a Hyrox event any time (perhaps ever for that matter...), but here is some advice from my colleagues who actually know what they are talking about, and not influencers attempting to flog you a poorly designed training programme: theconversation.com/hyrox-is-boo...

I have recently spent some time focusing on sports stadium design, but could anyone share FIFA’s Football Stadium Guidelines from 2022 as a PDF, please (probably a long shot, I know)? As I don’t really want to trek to Zurich for the access.

UK will rejoin Erasmus student scheme in 2027
The UK left in December 2020 as part of the post-Brexit trade deal with the EU negotiated by Boris Johnson.
The UK returning to the Erasmus scheme is the most positive news story since we had a dedicated universities minister.
In the early days of my teaching I relished engaging with Erasmus+ students, and the scheme will only continue to benefit the exchange of students: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

This is an interesting #media article that's worth reading. While the Saudi government can be given credit for including the natural #environment in its #football bid thinking, proposals for major #sport #events have to be credible. #climate

New stadiums, airports and oil links: the environmental cost of Saudi Arabia’s 2034 World Cup
The Saudis have won the right to host football’s biggest tournament. But its bid doesn’t seriously address the environmental issues.
Our latest piece explores the environmental implications of hosting the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
How will environmental sustainability be featured in the next plans to host the Men's Football World Cup in the Middle East? @matthutch96.bsky.social theconversation.com/new-stadiums...
