So I’ve now gone from mourning Lou Haigh’s resignation to fan boying over Heidi Alexander’s appointment. She was incredible as Deputy Mayor of Transport for London, so hopeful for more of the same 😍

Lou Haigh did more to improve transport in a few months than many Secretaries of State achieve in years and was taking this brief on with passion and a strong resolve to fix things fast. A talented strong young woman, hope she goes on to do even more good.
