Wow -- as first spotted by @BadFoxGraphics on X, Fox & Friends this morning used *old footage of a previous dignified transfer* to mislead their audience about the fact that Trump wore a baseball cap during the one yesterday
How many countries will Trump bomb, how many will he try to destroy, in order to avoid accountability for his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and avoid the reality of his accelerating physical and mental decline?
There's something deeply obscene and broken about the fact that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are bombing elementary schools in an illegal war of aggression, and there's still a sense among the opposition that it has to be explained in terms of gas prices in order to get American voters to care.
SCOOP β Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.
My report:
Spot on, Ben!
Wow
Egregious, per usual.
Heβs a piece of shit
If you're at the airport and Kristi Noem is doing the ominous little message from the TSA screens, you no longer have to do anything she says. Leave your laptop in the case, whatever.
Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and itβs good sheβs gone.
But this doesnβt change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.
Know someone who needs a visual explainer of why WA's uber-rich are overdue in paying their share in taxes? Check this out. Note: This doesn't take into account the tax break windfall the richest 1% received from Congress. It's time for a #MillionairesTax! #WaLeg

CBS News is just a pro-Trump and pro-Israel war-mongering outlet right now.
The "experts" they have on are straight-up bigots like Douglas Murray.
What a sad downfall.
Letβs level set.
Trumpβs justification for war: Iran was just βweeks awayβ from having a nuclear weapon.
Thatβs propaganda. Heβs lying.
A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. -Dr. Seuss, author and illustrator (2 Mar 1904-1991)
βItβs a choice to ensure zero abortions."
Since July, more than a dozen pregnant children have been moved to a single facility in the small town of San Benito, along the south Texas border. The children kept in Texas are as young as 13, and about half are pregnant because of rape.
"Aside from the internment camps used to incarcerate Japanese Americans in the 1940s, such facilities have no precedent in American history..."

Lots of tails wagging lots of dogs this week. Trump clearly wants you to forget there are documents about him missing from the Epstein files. But I devote most of this piece to a quiet phenomenon: federal judges, declaring war on ICE open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

Time to stand up for Art. I of our Constitution and the representatives of the people deciding when to go to war, not the whims of one man in the White House (or Mar-a-Lago).

I do actually think there is a serious imbalance on this app. A lot of politics and not enough culture. Some of that has to do with the fact that Black Twitter mostly went to Threads.
Social media created this nonsense idea that not exposing yourself to hatred is isolationist. Choosing to not spend your free time with bigots isnβt living in a bubble. I donβt need to know whatβs going on at X. I wonβt be smarter or more knowledgeable or empathic by being there. Neither will you.
The morally bankrupt Trump administration has partnered with another morally bankrupt authoritarian to declare an unprovoked war on Iran, already killing scores of civilians.
We need an immediate vote from Congress on a War Powers Resolution. Then articles of impeachment.
Trump may actually believe that he won't engage in "nation building," but the reality is that he'll soon be faced with two stark choices: (1) sit idly by as Iran turns into the world's largest incubator for anti-American terrorists, or (2) put enough boots on the ground to shape a new nation.
History may not repeat itself, but it often rhymes.
Trump's call for the people of Iran to somehow seize control and build a new, peaceful, and democratic state are an obvious echo of George Bush's unshakable belief that the people of Iraq would greet the American military with flowers.
Like in Iraq, there is a brief period when the death of a hated dictator is uniting many people. Soon, however, the reality of the underlying divisions, including the division between those with military force (the revolutionary guards) and those without (the people), will emerge.
