i relate to this so much, it's really difficult especially if you've been punished (socially, by the psych system, etc) for that intensity or being out of line with others for whatever reason. it's hard to get through and i'm sorry you're struggling with it too even in fan/nerd spaces 🫂

trying very hard not to despair facing such dark, difficult times. it's a very frightening time to be trans + sick + crippled + to not have very much community irl or online. it's hard to feel so alienated from so much of life and to stay hopeful but by god i am trying

fwiw, historically, times of progress are often met w/ extremist pushbacks before progressive change truly takes hold. saw this with reconstruction > jim crow > civil rights, w/ labor movements, w/ the waves of feminism that come and go. we will see a better future. we will make it.
