Today’s #solarpunk #soilpunk story from Tractor Beam is “An Echo’s Timelapse” by @tlotlotsamaase.bsky.social
“the building started as a poem, developed by a trainee architect who, with the laborers, pressed incantations into bricks of burnt clay”

If all goes well today (literally at clinic right now), then surgery is early next month. Any help before then will be even more appreciated.
Thank you!
Ahhh hope you enjoy!
Oh my word! Wow thank you for sharing!!!
I've had more than a few unexpected health expenses due to my breast cancer treatment this past year, so things are not so good financially.
I'd be grateful for anything you can spare to get me through what looks to be a tough New Year.
Thank you & please boost.

Trying not to comment on sff awards and best of discourse and focus on my own paper

Including a lil write up on Griots & Galaxies (and my fave picture of me and our sound engineer, Bailey)

I was thrilled to read an ARC of Songs For the Shadows, out tomorrow 11/12. This beautiful novella about grief and ghosts, set in the Sauútiverse shared world, was fascinating and refreshingly different. Don't miss it!

Please sincerely understand that there are many victims involved who have been egregiously mistreated. What has been shared and revealed is only a tip of the iceberg.
Nobody is holding this against her. What she gave is a clarification, not an admission of guilt. Point still stands, she was lied to about being acknowledged for work she did. And Erin’s statement isn’t the only indictment on this person. If anything, it’s the least out of the many.
One of this year's Milford Bursary recipients, @naomieselojor.bsky.social, reports on her week at the writing workshop at @gladlib.bsky.social in Sept: "I had always had such reckless optimism that my writing would literally take me places. And it has." milfordsfwriters.wordpress.com/2024/09/24/m...
This was a beautiful read!
