For the umpteenth - but almost certainly not last time - the institutions of the American economy depend on the institutions of American democracy.

That's pretty neat, I bet she likes working for the Washington Post

You forgot to mention she resigned in protest in January after you killed her cartoon about your plutocrat owner.
Philly thought differently.
@inquirer.com
Page One must have been crowded.
So NYT puts it on Page 13. 🤡

Roughly 50% of the reason I became a Republican was I genuinely believe our national debt is an emergency and a national security risk. But after living some life it is clear to me that Republicans only talk about lowering the debt, they don’t actually do it.
This is what you do when you love your country. You even meet with the worst among us.
it's important this go as viral as the original story for morale purposes if nothing else. despite the image they project these people are NOT unaccountable. consequences CAN be forced. focused anger and outrage MATTERS.
He’s a citizen. He’s a lawyer. The Feds tried to take his phone at the border anyway. t.co/WezrRmDA40
Don’t forget the rule of law.
If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.
Very Trump to push the North American economy into depression to change the subject from his national security team's carelessness and lies.
Starting in the ’80s, the evangelical movement began to associate itself with GOP politics.
It made the gamble that it could influence the Republican Party more than the party would influence it.
It lost that gamble.

Keep fighting, Craig!
I've asked Major League Baseball's Vice President of Communications if Major League Baseball has any comment on the DoD erasing Jackie Robinson's page from the site and changing the URL to "DEI Sports." I'll update this story if and when the league weighs in. www.cupofcoffeenews.com/cup-of-coffe...
Wait till the White House starts directing the Marshals Service not to protect judges who rule against the Administration.
I’d bet good money that’ll happen at some point.
Having a border with Russia ought to focus the mind a bit.
Here is some truth: Putin invaded Ukraine. NATO is the most successful military alliance in history. Since 1945, American leadership has ensured freedom and security for ourselves and millions of others around the world.
In a world of Donald Trumps, be a Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Slava Ukraini. 🇺🇦
Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago.
But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today.
He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.
We are, unequivocally, the Bad Guys.
We have been before, and we will be again, no doubt, but this one is particularly repellent.
someone needs to ask Cotton, Cruz, Graham about siding with Russia at the UN. Their guy is on Putin's side. Where are THEY?
2 of the worst people you know are fighting again🍿...
Steve Bannon on Elon Musk: "Musk is a parasitic illegal immigrant. He wants to impose his freak experiments and play-act as God without any respect for the country’s history, values, or traditions.”
Profound…
This is probably the most accurate take.
Who would want to ally with a country that will shake you down later?
Who would want to work for a government that could fire you overnight for no reason?
The costs of Trump's actions will be felt for generations.
The federal prosecutors who have resigned rather than bow to Trump on the Eric Adams case -- Danielle Sassoon, Hagan Scotten -- remind me of José Martí, who said, "When there are many men who lack honor, there are always others who have within themselves the honor of many men."
