I long for a system that celebrates all achievement and agree that the current system is so flawed.
One of the main reasons that I love working in a special school is the fact that we can be really innovative with the curriculum and we celebrate everything that pupils achieve.

The new Ofsted proposals being discussed at the moment are concerning, particularly the separation of curriculum and instruction. Here are some thoughts 🧵⬇️
This Review is considering how the education system works for all pupils. I believe change can benefit all pupils. For me, however, it carries particular pertinence for many pupils with SEND.

This is so depressing!!
Definitely subscribe to a relational approach. Don’t agree with everything in the book above but aspects of it are at the heart of our practice.
