I believe this is a big part of why Maine didn't make the list. We have a LOT of older folks & rural areas.

Maine has early voting (in person or by mail, no specific reason needed) for like a month before the election.
I usually end up going on election day and have never waited in line longer than 3 minutes, inside the building.

Every time I pass a car without a front plate, I immediately think, "Oh crap I wish I could tell those folks that their plate fell off" 🤣
Then I see the back plate in my mirror and it's a different state lol
