WE all have to eat liver, but this guy gets to fill a hot tub with lobster tail ice cream and sushi donuts. Which of course WE are paying for. Which is why WE have to buy liver.

Check out my latest creation & hear about my creative process (aka foibles & screw-ups, lol) while helping me afford basic necessities that SSDI isn't covering (like expensive asthma meds for eosinophilic asthma). I greatly appreciate any level of patronage & shares.

It varies library to library. They have to pay for licenses for each digital book, just like buying a hard copy. So smaller libraries like mine don't have a huge selection.
It's a good thing my hands know what they're doing knitting-wise. Because my eyes are having a worse and worse time seeing this elephant lovey project at night. Of course, I had to be knitting him on 3s.
Oh I definitely do much of the time. I just use audible for the books my library doesn't have.
And then AT&T stops by in person to tell me about their Fabulous Deals. Only $65 for the first three months and the $95 for the rest of the year. lol, nope. Sorry my dude, I just did my Can't-Afford-My-ISP research and even AT&T online offers less than that ๐
Me: As you can imagine, that's really not gonna work for me as a solution.
VNCSL: Of course, dear. It wouldn't work for me either. Have you found something cheaper you can switch to?
Me: Yes, for half the price. I'll call to cancel once I'm set up. Have a lovely day.
Me: And you can do what about that?
VMCSL: Well, I can give you the best current promotion, but that'll still leave you paying $5 more than your current bill.
Me: calls ISP to say that I can't afford my current bill and could they do anything about that?
Very Nice Customer Service Lady: Oh honey, I'm so sorry to tell you this but we just raised your bill. The next one will be $25 more
I'd be looking for a roommate already if my dog weren't such an asshole when it comes to people who aren't me being in the house.
Mortgage going up. Asthma meds freakishly expensive. Time to cut off the few frills that I have left (HBO Max & Audible). Trying desperately to hold onto internet service. Wonder if I can find cheaper car insurance maybe?
omg, please
Kenny is already in over his head in medical bills from his first round of chemo and an esophagectomy. This immunotherapy clinical trial has great potential but is 2.5 hours away. Any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated; even a share.
Time for an update: My friend Kenny now has Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer which has metasticized to spots outside his esophagus, one of his ribs, and possibly his liver. He is part of a clinical trial which requires bi-weekly trips to San Antonio for the next 1-2 years.

mmhmm, grrrr
This is a dear friend of mine. Her chosen family has been struggling for some time and could use your help.
$250 a month for my eosinophilic asthma specific meds! Whee.
Y'all know what to do
Looks like we have a winner: ME/CFS nonsense!
Shortly after I laid down to take a rest, no more shakiness.
Stand up or sit-up; shakiness.
Fun with chronic illness. ;) It's the only migraine med that works that makes me not sweat properly so unfortunately I'm not likely to gove it up either.
It's like my core is electrified and everything just shakes with current. But yes, I'm overheated today and one of my meds keeps me from sweating properly. I get small blisters instead. Had my thyroid checked recently and it was good, so that's out for me.
I really wanted/needed to mow the backyard today. Or part of it anyway, before it gets too hot here for me. Guess I'll be scraping together funds to pay someone.
Why did I even bother to buy a lawn mower those years ago? What was I thinking? lol. I should sell it. Could use the cash.
I suppose it could be anxiety, but that usually shows up differently for me. More racing thoughts, pacing, constant worrying type stuff. Inability to sleep, that sort of thing.
I'm shakey & I don't know why.
It's not diabetes, I tested.
It's not dehydration, I'm drinking.
It's not a visible tremor.
It's an internal shakiness.
I didn't miss or change any meds.
Could be random ME/CFS nonsense.
Could be a developing Migraine?
Anyway, just venting

Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some Zen to the feed.
Dammit, I was just about to go to sleep.
lol, me too. Every single time
I got to vote for Jasmine Crockett today! It was a good day.
