I love the Oscars. I make it a point to watch all of the major nominees (more of a point them members of the voting academy, which is sad).
All that said, this was not a great year for movies.

When we saw this kid from Lancaster during our May trip to California, we called him Milk Fed because he looks like he was raised on milk.
It was quite the performance!
We took our daughter to a Pirates game when she was thre years old and she adored the Pirate Parrot :)

I disagree - I couldn't help giggling.
I was watching the BBC earlier. Connor was the one who originally pointed out to me that they have excellent coverage without the hysterics that the US cable news stations give us.
