What techniques do you use to add color? It looks a little shiny, almost sparkly.

Did you use fewer layers in the reflection to keep it darker?

Four small easels with different space scenes. Each one was painted for a special member of my family (my mother, father, brother, and sister).

I had a lot of fun painting these little planets on mini easels with acrylic paints.
Space scenes are definitely one of my main sources of inspiration.

Wow, it’s so intense! Do you start with a watercolor base and then add details with pastels and ink? How do you create that textured feeling?

I had to take a closer look to realize this was actually watercolor. The level of mastery is incredible. At first glance, it looks like a real animal.

Thank you so much for those explanations. That seems perfectly clear to me. I had to check what a “Mr. Clean eraser” is, but it seems I have one at home (the name in French is just different). I’ll give it a try this weekend. I think it could work perfectly for watercolor portraits as a background.😊
