I've only just started insulin treatment and they say it gets better after a bit. Today would only be day 3 so idk how much longer I need to wait, or if I'm doing this and using every ounce of energy and mental stability for nothing

She's got diabetes and is in a really weak state right now. Sometimes she can get up on her own and walk on her own to go pee. Sometimes I need to help her up but she can still walk. Sometimes she doesn't wanna go pee outside so she just pees inside which I clean. She barely eats but still tries

I appreciate that big time Steve. I have a sliver of hope she can bounce back

It's gonna be a really tough journey and slim chance fpr recovery but I'm gonna help my dog cause she deserves a happy exit, not struggling like she is.

Today was day 1 of giving her all her meds, IV, insulin. I love you girl, and I'm sorry I couldn't have been a better human for you 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

Had a REAL serious talk with my vet this morning and was heavily considering sleeping myla cause I don't like to see her with no energy.

But I decided I don't wanna give up on her like that, I know she wants to live, she still gives me tail wags.

I decided to buy her meds and give her a chance

Thank you Myla for carrying me through a third of my life. I'm at that point where I feel straight up guilty for not having been there more often for you. You're such an amazing puppo that will forever be remembered in the best ways. I'm dreading the day but I feel like it's fast approaching 💔
