Maybe there were good reasons why other Presidents, both Rs and Ds, have not started a war with Iran in the past. It really does not take a genius to understand the risks from the Strait of Hormuz being shut down and to understand that regime change is unlikely to be forced with an air war.

It will be interesting to see how much revenue this tax actually raises. I am all for taxing people who earn this much, but there are ways for the wealthy to avoid this tax. Some will of course move. Others will defer income. A smaller tax might be more effective. It's an interesting experiment.

Maybe, maybe not. If he wins it is because enough independents and establishments republicans vote for him because of the digust with the state of the republican party. I have lived in Texas for 58 years and my sense is he has a really good chance of winning if Paxton is the republican candidate.

If you think Talarico = Fetterman you really haven’t taken the time to learn about Talarico. He and Crockett are pretty well aligned on policy. Their differences have to do with style, not substance.

You don’t understand Talarico. He would not have made it to where he is without being a fighter. He simply has a different style. It is that difference in style that could make him the first Democrat elected to statewide office in decades.
