All of his biographies and interviews with family members point out that his parents were physically and mentally abusive and emotionally neglectful, his father's abuse well documented. But we also know Trump has never had any friends at any point in his life and was basically locked in empty mansions or boarding schools with absolutely no interaction with others. And he's weird hang ups around women clearly stem from how his father forced him to abuse women from a really early age. Kids who went to school with Trump talked about how his dad would have cars shuttle girls to the boarding school for trump to "prove himself" with, often with his dad in the room. Trump is clearly the product of abuse, with no actual wants or interests beyond getting praise and attention. I fully believe he has a high degree of brain damage from the untreated trauma that just kinda leaves him numb. Friends and family have talked about how Trump has no favorite color, no favorite music, no favorite foods. We all joked about how he eats nothing but unseasoned steak, fried chicken and ice cream everyday, but people have actually pointed out the he refuses to eat ANYTHING else. Flavors must be bland, textures must be consistent. Staffers talked about how Trump just sits in a room alone most days and just watches ads or TV, not even tv shows, just the news, and ads. Or how he literally needs his name to be written in press briefings or he’ll lose interest and stop reading- image cuts text off

Trump is such a boon to Republicans because he is a shiny distraction that dominates the news cycle, and allows them to do whatever they want through him. He's a fully empty puppet that the worst of humanity jumped at the chance to shove their hands up his ass. Trump has been trying to get his father's approval and attention his whole life. Even the awful racist and sexist shit he's said isn't any deeply held belief on his part, he just says whatever will get people maddest, like a child playing COD shouting slurs that he doesn't even know the meaning of. Trump has flip flopped on every single topic multiple times because he genuinely does not care and has no investment in the real world. He is evil but worse than that he is just indifferent and shallow- text cuts off
