My fear is that administrators will respond to these kinds of complaints from students because it’s a legal liability, while faculty concerns about student AI use will be met with the same status quo platitudes about it being here to stay, teaching how to use it the right way, etc.

The AAUP condemns this capitulation. We can & must fight back.

A picture of Hank Hill from King of the Hill, speaking angrily to someone at the “Computer Business Center.” The caption reads, “I do not want to save to onedrive. I want to save to the documents folder… on my computer… that I own… in my house.”
I literally sent this to someone on Friday. Never have I related to Hank Hill more
