I would guess that it’s more simple, as in humans might have evolved to simply find structured novelty to be beautiful or aesthetically appealing. Rather than it matching up with the symmetry of an internal structure of the human body and the subconscious mind also somehow being aware of that.

tbh I only find things to be ineffable for a short period of time after the trip, I eventually always feel like I can describe the experience adequately. The words are reductive sure, but that’s the case with describing literally anything.
Completed this piece recently after really going at it for a week and a half. Breaking in a new watercolor palette with a full sheet was a lot of fun (though the deadline made it less so)
