Plans to move Rotunda maternity hospital to Connolly in Blanchardstown abandoned Maternity hospital will instead apply for permission for extension at current Dublin city centre site

Good to see Gov finally concede their relocation policy was a real obstacle to the Rotunda’s plans

They could have avoided the mess by listening to the hospital last year

I raised all of this with the Taoiseach @ 3:30pm today!

Very disappointed to see the Rotunda refused planning permission for its critical care wing

Dublin City needs to protect our great Georgian architecture AND provide much needed services

Important to say the Hospital was there first in what is now Parnell square before the houses were ever built!

Poor Grace. What utter heartbreak for her family & friends. My heart goes out to her and all the Lynch family and Grace’s friends. We must do better, we must make our roads safer.
