I'm currently working on an exciting new project that mixes Science Fiction and the power of music into a power ballad of survival, heroism, and sacrifice.
Plans for tonight:
Playing my guitar until my fingers bleed.
Printing more terrain for my upcoming game on Friday.
Finish writing the current chapter I'm on.
Playing some more Resident Evil Village.
All that after and in-between hanging out with the kids.
Some days I find there are so many tasks flowing around in my mind that I end up circling around the house for ten minutes before I actually settle on what I'm supposed to be doing.
Here's an interesting observation I've developed over my 40+ years:
Men very rarely get offered help. Or even asked if they need it.
If a man is struggling, it seems easy to assume he wants to do it alone.
Sadly, this is also often not the case.
We all need help sometimes.
Went to see these guys live tonight. Was bloody hard core, and they finished with Killing in the Name of!
Had to pick up some vinyl on the way out.

Dean Koontz The Face. Was not what I expected in such a good way.

I love how there is a moment in #residentevil The Village where Ethan goes from "oh this sucks" victim to full on Resident Evil protagonist.
The entire idea of the Nintendo PlayStation is absolutely wild. With how massive PS has gotten, I can't imagine a world where they were only an attachment for a Nintendo.

I just watched 12 Angry Men (1957). What an absolute masterclass in dialogue writing.
Enthralling from start to finish and everyone was characterized so well.

Yeah that pretty much nails it. For me it's a dead mining town, once prosperous but now falling to disrepair and slowly being reclaimed by nature.
When you're trying to wallow in your melancholy but YouTube music auto play keeps putting upbeat bangers on.

For future reference: When your son with autism draws a face on an orange and declares it's his friend. You should absolutely not throw it out when it's gotten old and manky or suffer the wrath of an autistic meltdown.

Finally playing through Resident Evil VIII The Village.
And as a life long Resident Evil fan this game is super fun. Really wished I hadn't slept on it. But then I wouldn't be getting my first experience with it now.

I'm running a game on Friday and the Star Quest section is almost entirely out of action.
Really hope it's fixed by then.
I jumped back into Warframe after taking a hiatus, and there's just so much more to do.
Last time I played they had just released Temple, now there's a bunch of awesome new frames to farm out.

It's the day of the Kiwi Kids Triathlon and it's absolutely pissing down with rain.
A bit of panic making sure she's ready but over all she's excited.
This is only her second triathlon and it's definitely going to be an experience.
So proud of my wee girl.
I am stuck on a road, driving towards sunset.
Behind me are places I've been.
Some familiar; others are remembered only in essence.
People join me on this journey, most only for a short time.
I am grateful for the company regardless.
Fellow traveller, when you see me, wave. For I will wave back.
