No, I feel like those traits separate the A/B employees from the B/C respectively. These soft skills need to exist somewhere on the team, but don’t necessarily have to exist in a technical or SME role. Q3: Inter-personal skills for sure. The ability to make others feel good and want to work with you. Q2: Documenting anything is a great start! As a rookie, I would document any situation where you feel like you were thrown into a situation uncomfortably or without much support.
