thinking about maximizing a paperclip
thinking about maximizing a paperclip
i think you'll find, it's about the cigarettes we had on the way heh
can't say i encourage the latter
the apex of the aqueduct, canal and tow path in foreground
i am having a cigarette atop the aqueduct
step 2, 3 illustrated:
an aqueduct lurks in the background, crossing a riven and hidden by trees
the aqueduct looms over the river, arch on display
step 1: approach the aqueduct
inventing the aqueduct cigarette, where you go to an aqueduct, and have a cigarette
only a few roads that haven't been mauled by the tank parade alas
is this a top gear reference? sounds like a clarkson bit
This puts me at 10 people released. I filed my 1st habeas petition 29 days ago. I am an incredibly small-time, nobody lawyer who knew nothing about immigration law the day I submitted that case. I barely know any more today. I had never sued the federal government and now I've beaten them 10 times.
good morning to the man outside my house with an impact drill
bought the wrong kind of antihistamine too, big day
thinking to myself "i do miss having cats" as i walk to the store to buy anti histamines, as cleaning the flat has kicked up no small amount of cat hair
another iron rule of software seems to be: people make changes in the easiest places until there are no easy places left to change
in particular, there's a flavour of drive by commit where 'the easiest place' is 'new code goes in the last file i had open' and it quickly becomes spaghetti heh
although there is some truth in "software will grow in complexity until it is capable of reading email" there is also some truth in "software will rot until it is effectively one giant blob labeled 'util'"
reminds me of zongamin / holy fuck with devo characteristics
watching the quebecois polkadot uh band again, honestly yeah this is entirely my thing
discord not doing great today
good morning
"you have found me at a very chinese room time of my life" etc
has it been eight years since poop knife on reddit already
apropos of nothing "YOU CAN JUST DO THINGS TO PEOPLE" feels like one of those ominously threatening lines from a jenny holzer installation
"how did it work under capitalism" it was state funded "ah" heh
honkbal
there's a "from vox pop to vox unc" joke here i'm sure of it
The motto of the modern tech industry is "You can just do things to people"
sad little cowboy cat doodle, written text around it reads: βiβve got no yeehaws leftβ
fusion mince and tatties
still working out how to describe it "brubeck surf rock fugue pop" seems apt but "ratatat tabarnac" has better mouth feel
yeah i finally got pushed to it last night, i needed to see it recommended by a not-a-primus fan to be sure
