I’m blown away by how ahead of its time Super Metroid was back in 1994.
It was committed to environmental storytelling, atmosphere, and unconventional design approaches meant to surprise the player in a way that I think hasn’t been fully explored in the industry until the boom of indie titles.
I thought this site would've been better for growth, especially compared to the wasteland.
But I've gotten nothing from it.
