I have to admit that I'm really upset about how the press just doesn't seem to care at all about the welfare of our men and women in law enforcement.

I get along with the case worker very well; she's become a good friend to us, in as much as she's allowed, because she's our assigned social worker.

So now, when asked what my goal is, I tell her, "It's to wake-up tomorrow morning and start a new day," and that's what she puts down on the form.

My wife and I live in VA supportive housing. As a part of the deal, I get an 'assessment' every few months, and the case worker has to ask me what my goals are. I've told her that I am not 'goal-oriented,' per se, and never have been. She understands.
