The MALS Student Association is hosting our Spring Open Meeting for all current MALS students on Wednesday, Feb 25th from 5:00-7:30pm. It’s a great opportunity for students to connect, give feedback, and get involved in student leadership roles.
Grant Writing: The Summary Statement flyer that reads: The summary statement can be challenging to write because readers rely on it to make initial assessments, so the stakes are high, and condensing information risks losing clarity. This workshop teaches grant writers to craft this section more effectively by better understanding what reviewers are looking for and prioritizing accordingly. This workshop breaks down the process of preparing and submitting an article to a peer-reviewed journal, and covers issues from identifying the key elements of an article and choosing the right journal to recognizing what editors and reviewers are looking for when evaluating your work and responding to reviewer comments for a "revise and resubmit."
