I still feel that Gutrot Spume is one of, if not THE, best named character in Warhammer. Just reflects the character so well and is super fun to say.

Quite a coincidence, I saw your post this morning and the very same day I get my first win! I play The Defect. Having played this so much, it truly feels like an achievement.
I miss Campaing Packs so much: they sold the idea that scenery mattered. Buildings werenβt decoration β they were objectives, stories, and excuses to fight again next week.

College Magic spell cards are printed! They came out pretty good and look great alongside the other cards in the WFB 5th ed Magic set.

It's nice to know that the world can go completely to shit but still, somewhere, Troy will be buying Space Marines and in that sense at least, the universe has stability.
In fact I couldn't resist doing the meme
Some things never change, my dude. Insert Dr Manhattan meme here.
I wanted to develop the character a bit and have the rest of the Company encounter him at some point.
Yeah I had a go at this too. I actually set up a channel on our Discord, and used the Narvi app to manage the character and dice rolling. Love it! You populate a GDoc and the plugin reads it, type in commands for the different dice rolls etc.
Sometimes you find the right book at the right time. Lost my old dog a few months back. Started reading the first hard-copy book I've had time and space to read since having kids and starting a new career; Fairy Tale by @stephenking.bsky.social. Old Radar is filling a gap I didn't know was there.
2nd Ed! I often hear of people really into 3rd, but not as far back as second. This makes me want to go check it out. I am familiar with Terror of the Lichemaster, in fact I was reading it today to see if I could convert it to 5th. Seems like what we would now call a 'skirmish' game.
Interested to hear what everyone's niche #Warhammer hobby enthusiasms are! For me, I spend most of my internal world in WFB 5th Edition #Herohammer but with the 4th edition army books. I love the rules changes between 4th and 5th but also love the older metal models and Undead Army Book.
And so he needed to just draw a single power card in his magic phase or risk losing the battle! Easy right? But he rolled double ones, and so only got one chance to draw one. The look on his face when he got it was priceless. Massive thanks to @tuomaspirinen.bsky.social et al for the exciting times!
Had an absolute blast playing through the first scenario from the Circle of Blood from WFB 5th Edition with my boy! We are prepping for Idol of Gork but realised we had these armies ready to go now. The Undead were very nicely routing the poor defenders, but his Necromancer's unit was vulnerable...
How I'm choosing to sell the new TOR supplement to my play group:
Really excited with my boy starting to play WFB 5th ed with me. He really likes Orcs a Goblins, so I thought we should do this the right way. As a result I tracked down an unused copy of Idol of Gork... looking forward to sharing this project as it develops!
Yo, look at what my student teachers got for me...
Ah yes, the Princess deigned to acknowledge thine presence, quite an honour!
Currently going through this with Freyja, don't think we can pin it to a fever though.
Lord of the Ring Binders
Did you watch the latest season of Slow Horses? Roddy being into Warhammer 40k was so legit for his character...
I left a boot down there somewhere, lmk if you see it. Definitely don't look under the fold, there's nothing there...
Red Dead Collection
Pill Age should have been named Age of Pills.
Your Xanaxon Warband seems weak, clearly nothing for your opponent to be anxious about.
This reminds me how beyond disappointing it was to realise that we both attended the SAME GAMES DAY (I bussed down from Edinburgh) and didn't know each other was there.
I freaking KNEW you'd be watching this show, as a WLIIA nutter from way back...
-Here's your beverage, Lord Emperor.
-Is it to my precise requirement, Admiral?
- Yes My Lord. May the froth be with you.
Wow, thank you for the repost Necromancy from 6 months ago! Glad some new folks get to see this. Regrettably, I have only taken this army out of the cabinet once in that time and that was to move house.
Telling my Sisyphus joke always feels so futile.
