We already heavily tax other vices like smoking and alcohol because those do have some effect in curbing bad behavior plus that’s additional revenue to help fund more positive things.
I think the more likely move going forward is greater govt regulation/taxes. Put big taxes on betting.
The #1 problem for games today is discovery and curation. We are drowning in games to play. So many games get lost in the shuffle. 90% of success is just getting people to be aware of your game.
