(1/2) Today marks 22 years since Rachel Corrie, an American peace activist, was murdered by Israeli soldiers in Gaza when they deliberately drove over her with a bulldozer and crushed her to death for trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian family's home.

Far right parties in Ireland aren't pro-Irish, they just hate POC, immigrants, queer people, and women. If they were pro-Irish, and actually stood by the 'freedom' they've bastardised in their name, they wouldn't be platforming someone who stans Margaret Thatcher.

Hermann Kelly, leader of the Irish Freedom Party, has unsurprisingly congratulated the far right German party, the AfD, on their success in the recent elections. Leader of the AfD, Alice Weidel, has stated that Margaret Thatcher is her role model. Classic example of far right pAtRiOtIsM right there.

Will ‘a new arms race’ force Ireland to give up its neutrality?  Ireland’s neutrality is becoming intolerable in the eyes of many in the EU, according to a Department of Defence briefing. 

This government has neutrality in its sights. They want Ireland to ally with the same countries who lead NATO and who have funded and armed Israel’s genocide in Gaza. We need to defend neutrality from the warmongers.
