The watefall sequence was filmed in Tennessee while the rapids scenes immediately following were filmed 2,000 miles away near Sacramento.
Shift Into Turbo! The Turbo movie range of locations across three different states and the only time the LA-based production team filmed outside of California. Most notably, Iao Valley in Hawaii playing the island of Muiranthias.
Been working on some things in the background. New location updates coming soon-ish! But also got some things coming to the insta that I'm finally getting off the ground~ @rangerlocations
The establishing shots of Cosmos Arcade in Masked Rider were filmed at Westfield Valencia Town Center. Very little photo evidence of the outdoor carousel exist before the entrance to the mall was redeveloped in the mid-2000s.
Beetleborgs also filmed in Fillmore a few times - a town between Santa Clarita and Santa Paula. These scenes were filmed outside Fillmore City Hall.
Wild Force's "Fishing For a Friend" was filmed behind City Hall at the Fillmore and Western Railway.
One episode however filmed in the San Fernando Valley - a regular location haunt. The street resembled East Main Street in Santa Paula enough to almost seemlessly blend in. It fooled me for a bit!
Beetleborgs took the production out of its regular location haunts and filmed in the nearby town of Santa Paula to represent Charterville. Many of its episodes filmed on East Main Street in the town's center.
This one shot in Turbo's "The Gardener of Evil" filmed at 27200 Tourney Road in Valencia. This building (once built) would later be used for Bio-Lab in Time Force.
Before Power Rangers moved to Valencia Studios they filmed in Culver City. These scenes from Food Fight were filmed behind the studios - right next to the original exterior of the Juice Bar.
Two locations from Turbo's "Stitch Witchery"! The Tujunga Greenbelt is a park that runs on both sides of the Tujunga Wash stream in Van Nuys. The Greenbelt runs alongside Ulysses S Grant High School - the school used for establishing shots of Angel Grove.
Let's open with Taylor's majestic second opening credit shot - located at Grand Park in Downtown LA. Several episodes of Wild Force were filmed here around the time this shot was implemented so I always suspected it was shot here. Just had to find that wall!
The website has been updated with lots of new Californian locations! Over the next week or so we'll highlight a few but you can check them out here!

Shoutout to Michael Sullivan for helping with a bunch of these!

The orphanage from Ranger Green is at 268 West Tamaki Road. The neo-Georgian mansion was built in the 1930s and is now occupied by the School of Psychology.
I swear I've checked every piece of Auckland at this point. I conclude that this place never existed and its all CG.
Stumbled into the Grid Connection production base on Google Street View of May 2019.
And finally, appearing in one brief shot in Mystic Force is the Kashiwazaki Turkish Culture Village - a now abandoned turkish-themed park and events centre.
Shots from the Abaranger opening appearing on Hayley's TV were filmed outside Meiji Memorial Museum. This location has been used in early Sentai, Rider and Metal Heroes - in particular for some of the JAKQ promo shoots.
Time Force/Timeranger filmed at Tsutsugaura Cove in front of the recognisable Suzumejima rock.
Both of these Wild Force/Gaoranger locations are found in the Gunma Prefecture. Gunma Flower Park has been used elsewhere in Sentai - probably most notably as where Gai/Black Condor's grave is located in Gokaiger.
Just a mile-and-a-half apart, these two locations are some of the rare times that Rider and Sentai have filmed in the middle of an active (at least when not filming) street. The locations sit either side of the Tokyo's central business and the Imperial Palace.
Ryuki locations are always fun to find because I always forget that all of the shots are mirror-flipped.
Some of the beautiful night scenes from Ryuki's Episode Final/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight were filmed at the Makuhari Sumimoto Building. The Makuhari area of Chiba has been used extensively in Kamen Rider and Sentai
Two episodes of Masked Rider/Black RX filmed at Kawagoe Aquatic Park. Surprisingly, most of the park remains relatively unchanged from the 1980s.
Oshimizu Park makes a brief appearance in Super Ninja Steel/Ninninger. The park was previously seen in "Worlds Apart" in Time Force as a broken-visored Wes rejoins his team.
First up, this apartment block was seen in Super Megaforce in Gokaiger footage. The apartment was less than half a mile away from the Toei Studios in Nerima and was demolished in the mid-2010s.
The House of Book at AJU
Flashback from my Power Morphicon vacation. I was able to visit the Command Center without being a part of the field trip. I appreciate the AJU workers that were able to help me out.
We're here! New locations dropping later today.
