Ugh, JL Detroit seems like the worst era of the title.

Sounds like it was actually overcooked. I’ve had pretty good fried alligator at street fairs in NYC. But, like the time I dealt with a shit-filled rabbit carcass to make hasenpfeffer, it probably wasn’t really worth the effort of not making it with chicken.
